Marie Martinez, M.S., LPC Licensed Professional Counselor Hello, my name is Marie Martinez. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Angelo State University in 2016 and became a Licensed Professional Counselor through the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors in 2017.

I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, including teenagers, adults, seniors, members of the LGBTQ+ community, active-duty service members, and military veterans.

My professional experience includes providing both individual and group therapy in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings, supporting individuals coping with depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief and loss, personality-related concerns, parenting challenges, suicidal thoughts, and psychosis.

Since 2020, I have been in private practice, where I continue to provide compassionate and client-centered care to adolescents, adults, and members of the military community.

My therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing from a variety of evidence-based techniques tailored to each client’s unique personality, needs, and goals. I believe that a strong therapeutic alliance—built on trust, understanding, and collaboration—is the foundation for meaningful growth and healing. After your first session, you can expect to leave with a clearer sense of direction and renewed hope.

When you’re ready to begin your journey toward relief, balance, and emotional well-being, I would be honored to walk beside you.
